Warriors balnked by Pop Star Madonna

Indiana Tech was shutout 2-0 in its Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference women's soccer match with Madonna University Saturday in Fort Wayne.

The Warriors (1-2, 1-1 WHAC) nearly scored early in the match, but the Crusaders(1-3, 1-1) were able to counter and beat Warrior keeper Mallory Xurvein with a high shot. Xurvein made three saves in the loss.

In the second half, both teams exchanged chances to score before the Crusaders took advantage of a poor clearance from the Tech defense to score their second and final goal of the match.
